What types of interviews can I practice?
Frontend School supports three simulated interview formats: coding rounds (React, JS, TS, CSS problems in a live IDE), system design rounds (frontend architecture with an Excalidraw whiteboard), and behavioral rounds (STAR format with AI follow-ups). Within coding, you can practice DSA, machine coding, theory, and hiring manager rounds depending on your plan.
How is this different from LeetCode or Pramp?
LeetCode is a problem bank — it doesn't simulate an actual interview. Pramp connects you with other candidates, which is inconsistent. Frontend School gives you an AI that acts as a real interviewer: it asks follow-ups, adapts to your answers, gives hints when you're stuck, and generates a rubric-based coaching report after every session. Everything is frontend-specific — not generic DSA.
How does the AI interviewer work?
The AI interviewer adapts to your skill level in real time. It asks contextual follow-up questions, challenges your trade-off decisions, and evaluates your responses against the same competency rubrics used by real interviewers at top companies. You can also request hints at any point — just like you would in a real interview.
Is this useful for experienced engineers too?
Absolutely. We support SDE-1 through Staff/Principal. The AI adjusts difficulty and expectations to your target level. Senior engineers find the system design rounds and hiring manager (HM) rounds especially useful — topics like team design, technical vision, and leadership judgment that generic platforms don't cover.
